Is this PDF rotator really free, with no signup?+
Yes. There's no account, trial, daily quota, or watermark on the output. Filoraio is supported by ads on the page — never on your file. You can rotate as many PDFs as you want.
Are my files uploaded to a server?+
No. The rotation runs entirely in your browser using a small WebAssembly library. Your PDF is read, processed, and saved without ever leaving the tab — which is why this works on confidential and offline files.
Can I rotate just one page of a PDF?+
Yes. Click any single page thumbnail in the grid and it rotates 90° clockwise. The rest of the document stays exactly as it was. Click the same page again for 180°, again for 270°, again to reset.
How do I rotate every page at once?+
Use the "Rotate all 90°", "Rotate all 180°", or "Rotate all 90° CCW" buttons above the page grid. Each one applies the rotation on top of whatever each page is already at — so a page already rotated 90° goes to 180° instead of starting over.
Does this rotate the file permanently or just the view?+
Permanently. The exported PDF has the new rotation baked into the file itself — anyone opening it in any viewer (Acrobat, Preview, browser, mobile) sees the pages in their corrected orientation, not the original.
Will my bookmarks, hyperlinks, or form fields survive?+
Yes. Filoraio rotates pages in place without rebuilding the document structure, so bookmarks, named destinations, internal cross-references, external URLs, and AcroForm fields are all preserved exactly as they were in the source.
Why does my page look rotated in Preview but not in the saved file?+
Some PDF viewers (notably Apple Preview) can rotate pages for *display* without saving the rotation back to the file. If you used "Rotate Right" in Preview and the file still opens flipped elsewhere, you saw a view-only rotation. Filoraio writes the rotation into the PDF itself so every viewer renders it correctly.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?+
Unlock the file first. Our Unlock PDF tool clears owner restrictions in one drop and decrypts password-protected files on your device when you type the password — then rotate the unlocked output here. We don't bypass passwords you don't have.
Does rotating a PDF change its file size?+
Barely. Rotation only writes a small angle value into each page's metadata — the actual page content (text, images, vectors) isn't re-rendered. The output is usually within a few hundred bytes of the original input.
How do I rotate a PDF on an iPhone or iPad?+
Open this page in Safari, tap the drop area, pick a PDF from the Files app, then tap any page thumbnail to rotate it. The corrected PDF downloads directly to Files — no app store install, no Apple ID, no third-party app.
How do I rotate a PDF on a Mac without Preview?+
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, drop the PDF, click the pages that need rotation, then download. Preview can rotate too, but its rotation is sometimes display-only — Filoraio's rotation is written into the file itself so it persists in every viewer.
Can I undo a rotation if I clicked the wrong page?+
Yes. Each click cycles 0° → 90° → 180° → 270° → 0°, so four clicks on the same page brings it back to the original. Or use the "Reset rotations" button to clear every page back to 0° in one move.
Why is my downloaded PDF still showing the wrong orientation?+
Two things to check. First, confirm you actually clicked the rotate button (the action bar should briefly show "Rotating…"). Second, your viewer may be cached on the old version — close and reopen the file. If it still looks wrong, try opening it in a different viewer to rule out display caching.
How many pages can I rotate in one go?+
There's no hard cap. Filoraio renders thumbnails progressively, so even a 500-page scan stays responsive — you can start clicking pages while the rest of the thumbnails are still loading. The only practical limit is your device's available memory.
